similar to the people they hang with the most. Make sure they do not
have any hidden character traits you cannot deal with.
3. Make sure they are real and not putting on a false image for your
benefit.
4. Take time to know them before you tell them real personal things
about yourself, and your family. If you do not want what you say to
them known to others do not say it.
5. Do not rush into the physical part of the relationship, that will only
cause complications not help them. If the person you are dating is
pressuring you for the physical action right away, consider the real
motive and do not give in at all. A relationship based on the lusting of the
flesh can not withstand the bonds of time, nor satisfy your heart, with
real companionship. If they are not willing to keep them selves pure
from the gratification of the fleshly lusts they will disappoint you and
cause problems with your mind set, do not go there! If they will not take
no for an answer then walk away.
6. If they have children make sure you are not trying to be something
you are not, you cannot take another persons place in their life, and do
not buy them! with kindness or trinkets. See if the children are well
behaved, obedient or disobedient, If they are unruly chances are, so is
the person you are dating. Remember sarcasm is a form of disobedience
and disobedience is as witchcraft.
7. Do not rush the relationship with there children or family members,
be patient.
8. The relationship in question could become a life long commitment.
Make sure you and the other person do not have any hidden past
problems, formerly called baggage. Which can hinder your future and
cause much grief. It is best to be completely honest and transparent with
one another at all times.
9. As things get more serious after a while of dating, and both of you are
serious about a future together, consider the financial aspect, long term.
So your finances do not overwhelm the future, financial burdens can
destroy marriages even before they get started.
10. Stay pure for one another, pray with one an other, and for one an
other. It is important to be in good understanding with one another
during prayer times.
11. It is very important to make sure that you and your future person are
truly in love and agree heart mind and soul in short, all things.
12. In the ancient days, the courting process was a long ways from how
it is now. People courted for up to five years with a lot of bonding time
before consummating there marriage. Not even having any physical
touch or contact for about the first 1 or 2 years, talking across the room
with a chaperon and distance between them. Both were walking in purity
and chastity of there minds and beings, as it was customary in those
days.
13. Also another most important issue is the leadership of the
relationship, there can only be one head of the two, the one who has
final and ultimate say, the final decisions. Both man and wife should see
Ephesians 5 for the order and direction in the marriage vows. # 1
Husbands love your wives as Yahushua the Messiah so loved the
Assembly that he gave himself for it. A righteous marriage should reflect
the relationship between the man and the Savior Yahushua, the marriage
being a parallel. As my Savior is with me So shall I be with my wife.
Yahushua showing me and giving me the example of unconditional love,
and giving of himself to me. How else can a man be except like his
Master and Savior Yahushua the Messiah, A-men!
